Text : Dan. 11:32   Philp. 3:9-10

Introduction:  It is a wonderful privilege to be part of the kingdom of God. Our faith in God has put us in a vantage position as heirs of salvation. We are bound to do exploits in life. 1Peter 2:9-10

Faith is vital to us as Christians, because it is the perfect expression of our confidence in God and His Word. When faith is motivated by the word of God, it become a living force for a living proof. Heb.10:23. When we know God and we please Him, we shall do great exploits. Doing exploits in the kingdom is impossible without faith. Faith is the determining factor of every man’s status in God’s kingdom.

Exploits connotes unusual accomplishment, it means striking or notable deeds, generational impacts, outstanding feats, breaking new grounds, scaling new heights, blazing the trails.

You are God’s choice for a dramatic turnaround !

Pathway to exploits

1.   Have a genuine encounter with God
Genuine encounter with God will enable us to do exploits. Everything remains the same until you are saved. John 3:3 ; Heb,2:3. Not just be saved but to remain saved, not just going to church but have a genuine encounter with the Almighty God. If you are not a child of God, you have no capacity to understand the word of God, not to talk of knowing Him. Everyone needs salvation to escape from the harassment of darkness. Mk 4: 11,Mt.6:33;

2.   Know your source and understand your make up
This is a determinant factor to a world of exploits. You must understand that, there is God’s DNA in your make, the moment you are saved. John 1:12 ; 2Cor. 5:17. If you are a son of God, you are far above, principalities and power. Ephesians 1:21. There is the grace and glory of God upon your life, therefore, He will not withhold anything from you. Your source has lots to do with your destiny. ISam 17: 34-35 ; ISam. 30:18-20;

3.   Hunger for God
This means, having an insatiable desire to be in God’s presence at all time Ps 42: 1-2. It means doing things that will provoke divine presence. Dan 2 ; Dan 3

4.   Praise
Praise commits God’s presence, which is the greatest pre-requisite to a life of great exploits. When God is available the enemy cannot triumph. 2Cor. 2:14 ; Psalm 22:3 ; 2Cor. 20:25-27. Every opportunity to praise God is your chance to silence the enemy.

5.   Acquaint yourself with God
This is very important to us in order to do exploits. We must get connected with God and take instructions from Him. If it is God that is leading the way, we cannot miss the road, if it is God that is giving the instructions, we cannot miss the target. Job. 22:21-34;

6.   Prayers
To do exploits and enjoy the spoils of exploits, we need to be a person of intense prayers. God expects us to come before His presence at all times, mankind our request known unto Him. Mat.7:7-8 ; John 14:14. Prayer can break any barrier, prayer moves the hand that rules the world. Daniel overcame the conspiracy of his adversary in the land of Babylon as a result of purposeful ,fervent  and result oriented prayers. Dan. 6:10 ,27 ; Acts 5;19,25 ; Acts 12:5,7-10.

Conclusion: There is the need to change our attitude, our orientation, and mentality. God has saved us into a life of great exploits, we cannot afford to operate in mediocrity any longer. We are here to do exploits, the Almighty God is with us. May you be divinely empowered to do great exploits in Jesus name. 

Life is a process that is full of movements, seasons, stages. As we move from one stage to another, from one season to another, we are bound to be confronted with obstacles, challenges, limitations that may wants to negate the plans of God for our lives. To turn obstacles to miracles, trials to triumph, test to testimonies depends on who is our ally. Dan.11:32, Zeph 3:17.

When the Almighty God is involved in the affairs of man, things begins to move in an unusual, unprecedented way. When God decides to be involved in the affairs of man, every obstacle becomes surmounted, the forces of heaven begins to work for such a one. That is what is known as define settlement.

At the advent of the involvement of the Almighty God (the outpouring of the Spirit of God), human‘s ability comes to an end and the power of God takes over. Isaiah 32:12-15. Our God is incomparable God! He has all power, ability, wisdom, resources that we ever need to be divinely settled. Jer 32:17,27. As children of God, our destiny is not designed to be lived through human efforts and abilities. As the elect of the Most high we belong to a special breed, because the force that is behind us transcends human ability and power. By divine involvement and settlement therefore, God has ordained us to be the principal channel of blessing s irrespective of our personal abilities, talents, profession, placement or vocation 1Peter 1:3.

Covenant requirement for settlement 

Christianity is a faith of responsibility. Every provision places a demand on you to access it .The word of God remains the power behind our settlement.11Peter.1:2, Ps.119:165, 11Chron. 26:5.

- You must be born again: 1Peter 5:10,11Peter 1:3: Until you are called, you are not a candidate of divine settlement. Rom.14:17, Gal.5:22.

- Rededicate your life to God: There is the need for us to rededicate our lives to God by returning unto Him in obedience. Mal.3:6-7. You must stay connected to the Prince of peace, being away from God generates curses. Ps.16;4.

- Settle with the word of God: The word of God is the career of the peace you need. The Word of God engages the wall of limitation the enemy is putting on our ways.

- The love of God: The freedom from the curse of law is only fulfilled in love, when you are in love with Christ, it naturally flows to men around you. John 1:17, Rom.13:8,10, Mat 22:37-40. Until we enter into a love covenant with God, life remains a struggle. Gal.3:13, ICor.2:9.

- Make a choice to serve God: If you want God to settle you, make a decision to serve Him .Josh. 24:15 .Serving God is not a gift, it is a choice .The heart of the people of Israel turned to serve God, then God remembered them. Ex.7:16,8:1, 20 ,9:1,13 ,10:3. God vowed to settle anyone who chooses to serve Him Deut.30:19, Job 36:11.

- Be planted in the House of God: Ps.84:4, Ps 92:13-15, Ps.132:13-15. Being planted in the house of God is a requirement for your unending settlement. Zion is the City of settlement, the more addicted you are to the house of God, the more settled you are. II Sam.7:10.

God is saying, give me my place and I will place you in the position I designed for you.

Enter into a covenant to serve God today.

 

As the year is gradually rolling by, God has destined you to get to your real destination for the year, therefore your expectations will not be cut short. Your time of being pitied is over because the glory of God shall take over your life. All your prayers have been converted to blessings awaiting certain principles for them to be fully delivered. When you come before God, your destiny is opened up, Whatever God has spoken concerning you, hold fast to it, it shall surely come to pass. Heb 10;35

The kingdom of God operates on principles, and we need understanding to operate in the principles: Asking guarantees receiving Mat.7:7; Sowing guarantees reaping Gal.6:7; Giving ends up in receiving Phil. 4:15-19; depositing ends in drawing Phil. 4:7; Obedience and faith leads to manifestation.

God is interested in meeting all our needs by taking us to the destination He has designed for our lives. However, meeting our spiritual needs will put us on top of our other needs. This means that when we focus on God’s kingdom, all other things, promotion, success, fruitfulness, fulfillment, marital satisfaction etc will follow automatically. One of the giant of prayer in the Old Testament is Elijah, Jam.5:17-18, I Kings 19:10. He was a man of unchecked erred passion for God and His kingdom. The more jealous you are for God, the more He becomes jealous for you. Until God and His kingdom begin to move you, your needs can not move God. When God and His kingdom become the driving force behind your life, you will become an irresistible winner in all area of your life.

In spite of your present situation and circumstance, God still wants you to get there. In spite of your doubt, where God has proposed for you, you will get there. Isaiah 66:14 “Thus says the Lord, Behold, I will extend peace unto you like a river and the glory of the Gentiles like a flowing stream. You shall be fed and know no hunger, you shall be carried on the side and dandled on the kneels as a child whose mother comforts. So shall the Lord also give you comforts in all situations of your life and destiny in the land of the living. Therefore, He will make your heart to rejoice and you shall have sound and divine health ‘

In life, carrier marriage, ministry, there is a place called there. It is a place of total satisfaction, a place of fulfillment.

There are however certain prerequisites that must be followed for us get there

Redemption: God has been over tolerant with man .Man has always been unwilling to follow the direction of man to get to his ordained destination. Man is facing destruction as a result of the negligence. For every destruction, there is a way out – Jesus .

Forgiveness: This has to do with having a clean hand and right motive towards one another

A man of worship: Praise is a provoker of divine blessing. Heb.13:15, Prov.12:14. The fruit of your lip is praise. Celebrate God in spite of what is happening or not happening. Let your connection with God be unconditional.

Refuse to be distracted:  Wherever you are going, be focused. Anybody that is not willing to make the journey with you to your destination is a distraction.

 

Life is all about relationship, and to make relationship harmonious and be hitch free, there are values that must necessarily be sustained as a man which lead to rancor –free relationship in families, organisations, and within the society at large.

Values are worthwhile principles that make a system or an entity to work effectively. To come closer home, values are traits, attitudes, character, that makes up a man’s personality. Values are those things which must be considered and observed before we can have success, or effectiveness in all spheres of life; education, marriage, family life, career, ministry, entrepreneurship, sports etc. These are principles and standard that makes things to work and give room for progress. Good values are very important in all human endeavors.

The family prepares the foundation upon which the lives of its members are based whether positively or negatively, and the man, according to Bible principles, is the head of the family .We could observe from the society today that the prevalent deficiencies being exhibited came as a result of the deficiency within the family. More than ever, individuals within the society showcase negative values like; selfishness, pride, arrogance, anger, insecurity, dishonesty, greediness ,hostility and a host of others.

God is counting on man, especially Christians to bring back godly virtues that can enhance and enrich lives towards establishing positive impact within the society. We can say without any reservation that the main bane of our society is the Home factor. The question is: Is there anything missing in the home? Yes, what is missing in the home can be describe as positive values. The indispensability of core positive values in our Homes cannot be over emphasized, especially with the fact that these can make or mar our families and the society at large. It is therefore exigently imperative for us as men to promote the positive values so as to make the family better, for a better society.

There are certain values that must be exhibited by a man to further a smooth relationship and peaceful co-existence, these are:

Love: Love is so important and paramount to effective relationship .It has been said that, even the most difficult person can be won over with love. John 13:34-35. There must be unconditional love in the family among father, mother and the children. This love must be so real and conspicuous that it will also rub on their wards.

Forgiveness: Lack of forgiveness is a serious disease that could harm both the offender and especially the offended. Bottling up the hurt in the heart hurts and causes more pains e.g.  emotional trauma, high blood pressure, strokes, hatred, depression, hindrances to answered prayers e.tc. Thus, forgiveness is the best style of life and should be embraced and be inculcated into the young ones (Mk.11:25-26).

Sharing and caring (Acts 11:25-46): Showing that we care goes a long way in the heart. We must also develop the habit of sharing with one another. Giving is not only in gift or cash but also in kind. Long after you have forgotten the money given to you, you will still remember those who cared for you and shared their time with you

Training of children: In order to correct the increasing rate of moral decadence in our society, home training must be seriously considered and be held in high esteem. With the understanding of the fact that we are living in the society where inculcating moral values into children becomes a taboo. Me must give our children both formal and informal education which includes-respect for the culture and the norms of the society, courtesy, everything must however be done in love.

Appreciating one another: We must have the understanding that any bit of good done to us is never a right but privilege. We must be addicted to showing gratitude for any act of good deed. A grateful heart never lacks because gratitude brings multiplication. Romans 12:10

Trust: Trust connotes the ability to have confidence in someone for what he /she says or does without any iota of doubt. They must be total trust in one another in order to breed good and lasting relationship. Lack of trust in one another will bring suspicion, animosity and hatred.

Keeping secret as secret (Michal 7:5): The joy of having a friend is when you have one you can trust and rely on. If I know that, whenever I entrust myself to you, I will not be put to shame, then, I will always want to be with you and confide in you. Integrity and trust must be our companion.

The fear of God (Prov. 1:7): The fear of God is the beginning of wisdom; this is the greatest of all values. To have good success in life and dwell in peace we must essentially develop the habit of fearing God. The fear of God must be passed from one generation to another. King Solomon; the wisest man ever said that “all wisdom put in summary is the fear of God. This must be developed and practiced constantly.

Conclusively, to make our society free of social vices and to make our homes a model for others to copy, positive values must be upheld in high esteem, enforced and inculcated into all especially at the nuclear level of the family.
